ReplyDeleteI don't have one all time favorite book because there are a lot of books that are my all time favorite, but I do recommend the all time fav books to my friends.
ReplyDeleteSo far My favorites are the Shadow Falls series by C.C. Hunter & the Divergent series by Veronica Roth!!!! I have told everyone I come across to read them!!!! :)))
ReplyDeleteI loved Divergent! They're making a movie! :D
DeleteI can't eait for it! ^__^
DeleteThe Vampire Academy and Bloodline series by Richelle Mead!Great giveaway and amazing blog! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! I don't have one specific favorite, but I do tend always be recommending books to everyone I meet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having such a great giveaway opportunity 8)

I have trouble with all-time favorites, but my favorite recent YA read was The Eternity Cure.
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite is 'The Mediator' Series by Meg Cabot ! I love that series and yes I have recommended this series to some friends and some strangers too!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have posted your blog button on my blog but the image doesn't appear! It says 'The person moved or deleted the image' on the blog button!
- Gayatri @ Notorious Writer.
That's bizarre. I haven't moved it? I changed the html coding around. Maybe it will work now?
DeleteNope it Didn't work ! I tried !
DeleteNow?
DeleteI fixed the coding in one place, but failed to fix it where it counted. I logged out of my account and copied and pasted the button to a different website and it seemed to work fine.
My all time favorite series is the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead! I was so addicted that I found the audio books at my library to listen to at work!
ReplyDeleteTigers Curse Saga. Yes I have recommended the book to people.
ReplyDeleteProbably The Fault in Our Stars! And yeah, I recommended it to a stranger in the bookstore haha
ReplyDeleteWell this is so cool! I love all these books! :) My personal fave is The selection! I am also dyslexic. :) Its cool to see another like me doing this. :)
ReplyDelete: )
DeleteI love meeting fellow dyslexics. You know, C.C. Hunter is also dyslexic? She also has a dyslexic witch (<---just spelled that 3 times) in her SHADOW FALLS series who is constantly saying her spells backwards and messing things up. So funny!
Maybe Insurgent. I recommend the Divergent series to everyone haha
ReplyDeleteMy all time favourite series is Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy! My first book signing was from her too when she visited Melbourne! The movie is coming next year!! I'm so excited for it *fan scream* :D
ReplyDeleteBtw, Minions for the win! ;D There is a movie for the Minions out next year as well! Awesome :)
HAHA! I LOVE the Minions! They make me smile. I've seen both movies almost solely for them.
DeleteThere are a lot of people who like that Vampire Academy book. I have sworn off vampire books since the Twilight movies. There was just an explosion of vampire books. I was into vampires before they sparkled...
Now it seems that's all they do. Bleeck! I'll come back to them in maybe a year or so when writers realize they're saturating the market and jump to the next big idea.
Everyone loves the Minions :D, everyone in the cinema laughed when they sang near the end of the second movie. Releasing a movie only for them will definitely be good.
DeleteHaha, there's no sparkle stuff in the Vampire Academy series!! Just awesome fight scenes, romance and twists :D I read Twilight series at first to see what was so good about it. I did not like it at all! Haha, I didn't really connect with the characters and there are other writers who can write a much better fantasy novel (even in less pages!). Vampire Academy is much more better in terms of character's development, personality etc.. I think :) I've recommended this series to all my friends even though back then they hated the thought of another "vampire novel". They loved Rose because of her strong female character.
I think the next big idea after the vampire is faeries, though most of them are a miss for me after the first book of the series.
It's a bit sad for me whenever I go into a new store these days looking for a new good book to read. There will always be huge amounts of adult books and all because of the 50 shades of grey popularity :(.
Sometimes, I feel like writing my own series >_< I have a few ideas... haha!
I love so many YA books! My recent favorite is The Maze Runner :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Lunar Chronicles! I recommend them to any and everyone. Plus Marissa Meyer is from my hometown. WOOP WOOP TACOMA!
ReplyDeleteThe Mortal Instruments series by Cassie Clare!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you feel about the MC kissing Jace (spelling?) in book #1??
DeleteBleck!
The Summoning by Kelly Armstrong
ReplyDeleteLuner cronicles, Percy Jackson, I could go on forever though. Overall, I have to say that Percy beats everthing.
ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games. I have recommended it to lots of people. Mostly people who normally don't read YA.
ReplyDeleteI recommend The Hunger Games! To a stranger? Via my blog, yes, definitely I have. In person, no, because I'm very shy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower via bloglovin'! Thanks for the giveaway and love the look of our blog. :D

I have two favorites, The Hunger Games and Sweet Evil! Both series are so good! Thanks! I have recommended them to others many times!
ReplyDeleteV for vendetta, delirium series, daughter of smoke and bone series, the lord of the rings series, lunar chronicles ,John green books, divergent series ,hunger games
ReplyDeleteI'm tickled pink by that gif of Toothless. When it comes to favorite books....that's like asking me to pick a favorite friend! John Green books definitely connect and resonate with me--but The Fault in Our Stars makes me cry. Tamora Pierce's Tortall books (Song of the Lioness, Immortals, Protector of the Small, etc) were my companions growing up. The Enchanted Forest Chronicles are a fun blending of fairy-tale fantasy and comedy. I've also got a soft spot for Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsong because it was my freshman summer reading book -- the only one of those that I ever liked. That, and sprawling universes appeal to me.
ReplyDeletelol, I LOVE Toothless. My black cat, Binx, acts exactly like him. My husband and I joked when we saw the movie that the animators must have been stalking us to get personality for the dragon.
DeleteLooks like you've really put in a lot of thought about the books. I'm intrigued. I may have to go find some of them.
I definitely recommend *all* of them. I got my boyfriend to read the Protector of the Small quartet (Pierce) and the first of Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles. I'm also pushing for another of my male friends to read Pierce. My father and I have enjoyed reading her novels throughout the years. I'm looking forward to a new book from Ms. Pierce in the fall. I've even met her and gotten a few books signed!
DeleteAlso, fun fact, Gail Carriger (The Parasol Protectorate series & Finishing School series) cites Tamora Pierce as one of her favorite authors. I get a special kind of joy when authors I read know/read other ones.
Toothless is just precious. Alas, I don't have a cat to compare him to, but I can imagine that makes for interesting living!
