I had the honor of meeting Rhiannon Frater at a Houston Writers conference about a year ago. She's so cool and down to earth. She gave a speech to fellow writers about how to break into the publishing business by self-publishing your novels. An inspiration. I believe her As The World Dies series was origionally self published before it was picked up by Tor. She's been on the road to success ever since.
